Our cashews are single-origin W180 and W210 jumbo grade, sourced directly from family orchards in Konkan and Goa — the rarest cashew-growing region in India.
Most cashews you find in stores are imported, blended, and lower grade. Here is what makes Kazu different.
Every Kazu cashew is sourced from the coastal orchards of Konkan and Goa. No mixing of regions, no imported filler, no shortcuts.
We stock exclusively W180 and W210, the top 10% of the harvest by size. Most retail cashews are W320 or smaller, a noticeably inferior grade.
Roasted and packed in small runs to guarantee freshness. No cashew sits in a warehouse for months before reaching you.
What is on the label is what is in the pack. We never blend grades, mix origins, or add fillers. Full transparency, zero compromise.
Jumbo cashews are versatile. Here are the best ways to enjoy them.
The simplest and best way. No prep, no cooking. One 30g serving is about 15–18 cashews depending on grade.
Add whole or roughly chopped to curries, biryanis, and kheer. They absorb spices well and add a creamy richness to the dish.
Soak overnight and blend into cashew milk, smoothies, or chutneys. Creates a naturally creamy, dairy-free base.
Roughly chop and scatter over salads, overnight oats, or desserts for added crunch, protein, and flavour.
Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Best consumed within 60 days of opening.
30g per serving gives you 157 kcal, 5g protein, and 12g healthy fats. Enough to satisfy without overdoing it.
A 30g serving (about 15–18 jumbo cashews) packs genuine nutrition alongside great taste.
Rich in oleic acid (the same monounsaturated fat as olive oil), which supports healthy cholesterol levels and cardiovascular function.
5g of plant protein and 12g of fat per 30g serving keep you fuller for longer, making cashews a far better snack than processed alternatives.
Exceptionally high in copper (67% of daily value per serving) and zinc, both essential for a strong immune response and healthy cell function.
82mg of magnesium per serving (20% daily value) supports muscle recovery, nerve function, and bone density. Also a good source of phosphorus.
Naturally low in sugar (1.7g per 30g) with a low GI score, making cashews suitable for most diets including diabetic-friendly eating plans.
Copper activates enzymes needed to produce collagen and elastin, which maintain skin elasticity and hair strength.
Jumbo grades (W180/W210) have a higher natural oil content than smaller grades, making them richer in beneficial fats per bite.
The "W" stands for Whole kernel. The number is kernels per pound. Fewer kernels means a larger cashew. W180 is the biggest mainstream grade available.
The largest commercially available cashew grade. Meaty, dense, and noticeably large compared to anything in a standard supermarket.
W180 is produced in very limited quantities. Most is exported to premium markets in the US, Europe, and the Gulf. It rarely reaches retail in India.
Larger kernels have a higher ratio of natural cashew oils, delivering a deeper, butterier taste and a more satisfying bite than smaller grades.
